Mace uses his streetwise to find where they can purchase guns. Ghad has a high law level and the purchase of firearms is tightly controlled, ownership is only allowed in the rural areas. Mace is stunned that he’s the only member of the crew with a weapon and urges the others to go out and buy some heat. The Prodigal Son arrives on Ghad a more or less typical AG-CO or agriculture colony. Grace is unable to find a 4th crew member and not sure that she even needs a medic so they embark for the nearby Caldonia Subsector for profit and adventure. He looks more like a character from an action holo than a steward but when he prepares a delicious meal of re-hydrated Goose for Grace and Paul they hire him on. Hauling passengers will be a lucrative business for Grace so she needs a steward. When contacted he explains he has turned down several officers from larger ships and distinguished companies but Grace’s venture is exactly what he’s looking for.
